Step #1: To install a new graphic, right-click on my computer. Next click on properties. Open the device Right-click My Computer and select Properties. Open the device manager by going to the hardware tab.Right-click My Computer and select Properties. In the Display Adapter heading is where your graphics card should be located on your computer. Double-click on the graphics card. This will open the properties window for your card. Now click uninstall.

Step#2: Turn off your computer and unplug it to be safe. You might want to wear some rubber gloves also. Find the APG slot by opening up the computer case. The APG slot is usually brown and located above the white PCI slots. Remove the screw in the back of the APG plate to take out the slot.

Step#3: Place your new graphics card into the APG slot. Make sure it is firmly in, screw the plate back onto the computer, and close the case.

Step#4: Turn on your computer. If your computer does not automatically recognize the new drivers, go to Start Menu, Settings, Control Panel, Add Hardware. Then, install the drivers. The computer should recognize the drivers at first.

Things you should look for in a graphics card:

1. Graphics mode. The more of this the better. A good graphics mode is 1024*768.

2.Color measurement. The more of this the better. A good amount of color is

65,536.

3.Memory. The more of this the better. A great graphics card has about 2 megabytes of memory.

4.A good graphics card costs anywhere from 300 to 800 dollars.

5. A good graphics card should have a cooling fan. A cooling fan makes it so the graphics card can run at a fast clock rate without getting burned out. Some types of cooling devices are:
